On-Call Telephone Interviewers Needed
for University Research Projects

We are seeking energetic, enthusiastic, and conscientious people to assist with a variety of university research projects. The SRL is located SW 4th and Markets Streets in downtown Portland. There is excellent access to public transportation.

The positions are part-time and on-call, 10-20 hours per week, weekdays, evenings, and weekends, beginning as soon as possible.

Job responsibilities include:

• Ability to talk on the telephone with a diverse range of people that comprise the study's sample
  
• Conducting structured surveys and entering data into survey specific software as it is collected
  
• Strong English speaking skills required; bilingual in Spanish desired
  
• Ability to create rapport quickly
  
• Strong typing skills (50+ wpm and 10-key by touch)
  
• Comfortable using a computer
  
• Confidentiality and professionalism are required
